How to the Pines show affection in your Pony AU, forehead touches? Actual hugs? Nuzzles? All three?

I haven’t really thought of this, but it varies I think!

Stan and Ford tend to cross horns as though it’s a high five. As kids they’d loop their tails together when exploring as a comfort for any anxiety. They aren’t super touchy as kids, but get looser about it as they age.

Dipper and Mabel probably bump flanks(like the cmc in mlp) as their most common action, but will give actual hugs and forehead touches fairly frequently. They have a nook in their room for sleepless nights where they can feel secure and will usually fall asleep with their foreheads together. Dipper will let Mabel comb his mane and tail(and do the same for her).

For the 4 of them, I’d say typically all three, usually nuzzles. I think they’d also cuddle a lot, especially on movie nights. Mabel definitely will drape herself across Stan or Fords backs and just chatter at them while they work while dipper will trot up and ask a bunch of questions.

Overall, a lot of their affections are consistent with the actual show, them making things for eachother, hugging, etc etc. I hope that answers your question :)
